Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California in the 9th day of July, 1983. She began her career in real estate after graduating from high school. She met Tarek Al Moussa while working in the world of real estate. In 2008, following the crash of the stock exchange, numerous real estate investors as well as home flippers were unable to make their profits. In the aftermath of the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing everything. When they moved from their home which cost them $6,000 per year to an apartment costing $700, they nearly lost everything. The economy and their businesses slowly improved. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to assist him in creating an HGTV audition tape which showed the two of them Christina flipping a house from beginning to end. The tape landed in the hands of executives at the production company Pie Town Productions. They were enthralled by Tarek's and Christina's love story. They signed an official HGTV deal in the year 2012. The show "Flip of Flop" began its run on April 13, 2013. Between 2013 until 2017, the show was a hit for 7 seasons. In the show, Christina and Tarek would buy properties, typically mid-income homes in Orange County, and would later spend a few months making improvements so that they could flip the property in order to earn an income. Tarek is focused on construction and remodelling while Christina focuses on design and making sure that everything stays on schedule.
