Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in the year 1980. Parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. She was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan with the family of a Polish mother and father that is German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen realized her potential in the entertainment industry at a young age. In 1992, Kristen went to her very first audition. She got an appearance in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent before she was 13 and she got her first role in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. Additionally, she began to take private acting classes. Bell had a minor role that was not credited to her on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama club. The school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Bell later moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell quit the school in 2001, when she landed the role of Becky to play Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. Her scene, however cut, and her only appearance is in the credits at the end. Bell was seen alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
