
Sara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently affiliated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor for the channel's shows 'Squawk on the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. Although she is an Ohioan however, she was not interested in currency and markets during the time she was in college. While attending New York University, she was a part-time intern at a start-up website named ForexTV.com. This was the place where she got her first exposure to business news. She later earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After that, she did an internship for four months with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to the USA and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. Eventually, she became a anchor for a TV show. CNBC employed her in December 2013 to be a reporter. Before being hired at "Closing Bell', she was an anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange' and Power Lunch'. Eisen is the co-anchor of "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. A prominent business journalists of today, her main focus has been on global consumer news since joining CNBC.
