Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22, 1975)[1] is an American actress as well as a producer, director, talk show host and author. She is part of the Barrymore actor family. She has won a variety of awards and nominations , including an Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. In 2004, she received a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was a well-known kid actor because of her character in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She wrote Little Girl Lost after a quite public childhood of drug and alcohol addiction. She was a part of many films that were successful during the 1990s-2000s, including Charlie's Angels. Barrymore was the co-star together with Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Firestarter, Donnie Darko and Riding in Cars with Boys are some of her other films. The film she directed her debut, Whip It, also featured her. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as along with the Golden Globe Award. She was a prominent character on the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet. She is currently hosting The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk-show that is syndicated.
